I can't believe how quickly the Marching Band season goes by...We only have two more competitions left of this season: The Eden Prairie competition and the Youth In Music competition at the Metrodome. That makes me sad.

ok, im back. rehearsal sucked. it was RAINING the whole night, so we had to stay inside the entire time!! but I kept asking "Why can't we at least go outside WITHOUT our instruments so we can learn this new drill that you gave us today??? We don't want to suck EPICALLY on Saturday!!" but we didn't go outside. not even for 5 minutes.

We stayed inside today (it's Tuesday now XD flash forward INTO THE FUTURE!!!) for Marching Band class cause it was raining. AGAIN. Mr. Berggren sure picked a fine time to change the ending for the FOURTH time this season! We're fine on the musicality stuff, Berggren (sorry, I'm ranting cause I don't really like my band director. he drives me crazy). we just need to LEARN THE DRILL!!!!! that's partly why we got 9th out of 10 in Souix Falls Finals in visual performance/execution! I think we should add more rehearsals to compensate for all the ones that had to be canceled because of this terrible weather we've been having the last week and a half. It's supposed to clear up tomorrow, though, so I'm forcing myself to remain optimistic right now.

Done with homework for now. (I'm not counting the article for Driver's Ed because I don't usually do it until Thursday evening. I'm such a procrastinator XD I really don't want to do it though. Those things are just a real pain in the ass) I just need to make some Mac & Cheese for myself (I'm really hungry right now. My stomach was growling all through my piano lesson today DX ) and I need to take a SERIOUS nap. I'm still recovering from the butt-numbing bus ride to and from South Dakota this past weekend. Say, does anyone know how to make a group on Facebook? I just had this random idea of making a group on Facebook for deviantART members. I don't know who would even join that, considering that I have no idea what we would DO there, but I just wanted to find out if they're other people at my school who also have one of these (besides my regular group of friends. I know they have one XD ) I probably won't end up making it, just because it's pretty much pointless, but you never know.


My mom and I were looking online after school at kimonos. We found this REALLY pretty summer kimono for $29.99. I couldn't believe it. I kept asking my mom if we could get it (I even told her I'd pitch in and pay the first $20!!) but she said no. I was kinda disappointed. It's probably sold out by now. There were only 9 left in stock when we looked. They had REALLY good deals on that site!! We started school today. My schedule's OK, except that I have THE WORST Biology class EVER. I have the SAME teacher that I had last year for Earth Science (which sucks because he's my LEAST favorite teacher EVER) and the people in my Biology class might be even worse!! There are also 2 people who think that I'm best friends with them but I personally can't STAND them but I'm way too nice to say that to them! This is going to be a LOOONG year. Other than that my schedule's pretty good. I have a good math teacher (I finally have it with someone I'm actually FRIENDS with now!!!), I'm taking Driver's Ed this quarter (I have it with Alina, Sunni, and Elise), I have Japanese with Mickyla, Devin, Emma, Jane, Jen, Sunni, and Ben (we all have lunch together too, which is a plus!!), Marching Band's always a blast, so I'm pretty excited about that, my English teacher's pretty cool but I wasn't all too sure about the class at first because I didn't know a lot of people, but then I met somebody who has some of the same interests as I do (her name is Audrey, I think). So I think I'll be alright for this quarter.

been busy with marching band, as usual. Our show is coming along pretty well, except that we STILL don't know all of the drill yet which kind of concerns me because that just proves what they've been telling us since band camp that we're behind by a couple of rehearsals and our first competition is in 2 weeks (that's not including parent night NEXT WEEK and the football game that we play for the half time show the day before our first competition!!! I'm really nervous for those events just because of that! DX )

Hey, guys!! I haven't really been on here since...APRIL?!? wow. Boy a lot's happened since then. Where to begin?

Well, I'm glad to report that I AM NO LONGER 14 YEARS OLD ANYMORE!!! yup, my birthday was on June 15! I had my party the day we got off of school (it was after school, of course) I spent most of the night before making the cake (I made a really yummy vegan carrot cake) and I had some friends over (like Savannah, Kalissa, Alina, Emma, Deven, and Megan) then we all walked over to the movie theater and we saw the movie "UP" (it was really good! I cried at like 4 different parts during the movie. Tori and Aiko showed up a little while after we got to the theater) A few days after that I invited Megan over to my house again (mainly because I felt that she felt kinda left out so I wanted to make it up to her) We played a little volleyball in our backyard, chatted for a while, then we watched the movie "Night at the Museum" I think she had a good time. It felt good to finally be able to talk to her again.

Not much else happened in June. Now, going into this month. Marching band has started up again. I marched with my school marching band in the 4th of July parade. I think it was both better and worse than last year. Worse because our rehearsal seemed so much LONGER than last year (even though we got out an hour early so we could pick up our attire if we ordered any), plus I already knew all this stuff and they kept going over the same things OVER and OVER and OVER again. >_> It was also worse this year because the band wasn't NEARLY as balanced as last year. We only had 3 flutes (that's INCLUDING me), 2 Saxophones, and pretty much a whole ARMY of trombones!! And, worse because on the day of the parade it was raining ALL DAY LONG (I didn't even bring my glasses because I thought it would be nice and SUNNY all day long so I only had my sunglasses with me, which I never needed, so I couldn't SEE the entire time) But it was better this year because I knew a WHOLE bunch more people than last year so I think overall I had a better time (I was hanging out with Delaney, Amy and Mariel most of the time ^^ ) Later that day my cousin and his parents came over from Ohio to stay at our house (I was SUPER excited about that because they're my favorite branch of relatives because they're all just super fun) We went to see fireworks that evening (the BEST EVER, I must say) The next few days were spent cleaning up the entire house for my brother's graduation open house. (It was ok, but nothing much happened. The people there were pretty much talking to my mom the entire time. I think there was more FOOD than guests there that night) But, a couple days before that, I went to the Mall of America with my cousin and my uncle. I got a pair of really neat shoes there for like $20. Not kidding. I also had our first full Marching Band rehearsal. I swear, our show name is so DUMB. The music is cool (it's King Kong music, why WOULDN'T it be cool???), but WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU CALL OUR SHOW "ISLAND????????" (I blame it all on Mr. Berggren. He's the idiot in charge of making all of this crazy stuff up) YOU COULD HAVE AT LEAST GIVEN OUR SHOW A LESS CHEESY NAME LIKE "ISOLATION" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!! Anyway, the day after my brother's party, we drove out to Elk River for a family reunion. They've got a HUGE trampoline there, a really nice boat, and LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD!! I spent the majority of my time on the trampoline, but later on (after I had 2 heaping plate fulls of food) I went tubing with my cousin. IT WAS SO INCREDIBLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I've never gone tubing before until then! (oh, now that I think of it, that was just yesterday )

Well, I guess that just about wraps things up. (whew...glad I let all of that stuff out....wait! I almost forgot!!) I just recently got back into that old game Mario 64 (does anybody remember that game??) I've got like over 40 stars and I haven't even gone into the room with the second Bowser yet!
Oh, and also I just recently started reading the manga series "Vampire Knight" I saw that series of books in the Barnes and Noble at the Mall when I was there with my uncle and I thought it was kind of interesting, but instead of just buying one or two of the books, I looked it up online and started reading it there (I was actually being smart for once!!) I REALLY like it. (I'm only on Chapter 24 though. I'm not very far...) Has anyone else read that series??


ok, THAT wraps things up now. I'm sure of it. I can't think of ANYTHING else that I could possibly put up here that would be worth reading (if you call all that crap up there WORTH READING. I just wasted like 20 minutes of your life by putting all of this crap up here!!)
